What is the artist BIO - is this must-have on your web or on social media

To begin with, it should be understood what the abbreviation BIO means. Well, Bio is nothing but an abbreviation for the word Biography. Containing the most important achievements of the artist in a given field to which BIO refers. Biographia is a description of someone based on many studies and interviews. It is written by someone else, if you want to use the word BIO or Biography on your website, you should ask for it to be written by a third party. Often, novice authors/artists use the tab 'about me' or just publish their CV, on their websites.

Therefore, we should consider whether our strikes are so spectacular as to ask someone to describe our person. Or perhaps stick with the tab about me. It is certainly tempting to use the word BIO or biography. We add prestige. Some artists add a resume to their pages to support what their BIO says about them. An example is the website of Martin Parr, who boasts a huge number of achievements in the field of photography.

Martin Parr's Bio from his published on his website www.martinparr.com/cv/ contains 463 words in total.  / accessed 16/03/2022 /

His full CV is also available on-page and contains 9845 words.

It can be concluded that the shortened BIO of the artist is his achievements, which the artist is most proud of and which are the most appropriate to the page on which it is presented. And his full CV accurately lists all the artist's achievements throughout his career.

Pieter Hugo - his 'Bio' which actually is called .information. available at: pieterhugo.com/Information / accessed 16/03/2022 / contains only 302 words. It still looks like written by someone, leaving this prestige impression however, it's probably written by a website editor with the information provided by Pieter Hugo himself.

Looks like artists are very careful about naming their own Bio.

However, there is no formula as to how it must be written or what "Bio" must be called. It is also impossible to say whether the artist wrote his Bio on his website or someone did it for him. A decisive description in the third person gives the rank of a statement. So it is worth paying attention to the way the text is written. The length of the text is also important as the information it contains. When visiting the photographer's website, I don't always want to read about the fact that the author won a beer pong with his friends in a pub ten years ago. Zadko will also be reading a 50-page short story about the artist's achievements and failures. Visitors want to read about spectacular and adequate achievements. Definitely, if the site also sells photographer services adding your CV will still be a good idea. However, you should select for your CV experiences adequate to the requested orders, experiences such as working at KFC in the breading department should not necessarily be included in the artist's CV.
