Spying on other artists - Elliott Erwitt

Image
The website of the famous photographer which is my favourite is the website of Eliott Erwitt . Available at: https://www.elliotterwitt.com/ /accessed 24/04/2022/ What I like the most about this website is the clear and simple interface. White text on a black background, even my blog is written like this :). I know why I'm going to Eliott Erwitt's website. I don't go in there to read his long BIO or CV. I go to the website to view his mostly black and white photos. Which in my opinion fits perfectly with the black and white interface. There is a slideshow on the home page that slowly turns over the artist's photos. Already on this page, there are 40 pictures of the artist. At the bottom of the page, there is a link to the Instagram profile. On quite a short 'About' page at the very bottom is the link for the magnum photo profile.  Magnum is now in charge of Erwitt's website and the store. Which is also available on the same page. In my opinion, this website c

What is the artist BIO - is this must-have on your web or on social media

To begin with, it should be understood what the abbreviation BIO means. Well, Bio is nothing but an abbreviation for the word Biography. Containing the most important achievements of the artist in a given field to which BIO refers. Biographia is a description of someone based on many studies and interviews. It is written by someone else, if you want to use the word BIO or Biography on your website, you should ask for it to be written by a third party. Often, novice authors/artists use the tab 'about me' or just publish their CV, on their websites. Therefore, we should consider whether our strikes are so spectacular as to ask someone to describe our person. Or perhaps stick with the tab about me. It is certainly tempting to use the word BIO or biography. We add prestige. Some artists add a resume to their pages to support what their BIO says about them. An example is the website of Martin Parr, who boasts a huge number of achievements in the field of photography. #bio Martin Par

Photography is a beautiful medium. It allows people to capture moments in time for the purpose of keeping, documenting, sharing, protecting and storytelling. Regardless of the type of photography you choose to focus on,  Photofocus is here as a helpful and educational resource for the aspiring and professional photographer. /Photophocus Comunity page/ #community Photofocus delivers content from top photographers, exceptional artists, and recognized business leaders in the photography industry. This website was created to support people in the photography industry. It deals with hiding and reviewing the work of others. He also reviews equipment used in the photography business. Personally, I find the site interesting, although the site is run quite sloppy and it took me a good 6 minutes before I got used to its rather cheap appearance. #needamap What we are basically looking at is a blog-style page run by a large group of artists, not only photographers. I think that's why this site

Blog, Blog, Blog, Blog,...! BLOG! BLOG!

But What actually the Blog is??? Do I really need one??? #blogged A blog is a website or part of a larger website that contains a so-called journal. By displaying your posts in chronological order from the newest to the oldest, you could say that the blog is a kind of author's diary. So do you need a blog as a photographer? You don't need to have one, but why not share your activities with a wider audience. How else will your photos reach a wider audience? Instead of huddling around galleries with your photo and begging for them to be displayed, you can, thanks to this invention, say today, look what I did. There is little of it you can even describe how you did it. So how to create an ideal blog that everyone will read and admire. Unfortunately, there is no recipe for an accomplished blog (apparently). Because not everyone will suit your style of writing, blog design or simply have photos in the nose. So your blog will simply be superfluous for him. However, in the world of b
