5 Top Social Media Platforms to concider - or not ;)

May this article be useful in choosing the right platform for me or for you, the reader. Maybe this post will give you a new thought or you will stop wasting your time on some sort.

Founded in 2004, currently have  2.7 billion active users.

Who Should Use Facebook?

almost everyone is on Facebook. Is good and supportive for small businesses too. It's the most popular platform for seniors too.

You Shouldn’t Use Facebook if?

You are running the business, which some audiences may recognize as unpleasant or some people may find upsetting. For example, the funeral business is not the best thing to advertise on this social platform. Photography - depends on what you want to share. Also, remember about losing your copyrights with Facebook.  Good for sharing content and advertising. 

2. YouTube

Founded in 2005, currently have  2 billion active users.

For, video content sharing, vlogs, channels, TV shows, and live streams - YouTube is the place for you.

Who Should Use Youtube?

Anyone who wants to share video content. Remember, if you are fussy with video quality you Shouldn't use it.

3. Instagram
Founded in 2010, currently have 1.082 billion active users.
Good platform for visual product sharing. Tagging allows you to price and link almost everything you are presenting on your profile. 
Are you an urban female under 35, interested in beauty, travel and fashion? According to data, Instagram is good for you. This full of influencers platform is liked by photographers, which use it mainly because it's easy to share visual platform. However, the real purpose is to sell high-end products to rich individuals. However, If you decide to post your visual content despite the fact, you cannot expect a high-quality picture upload. But still, you don't want to share your RAW files via Instagram anyway. So just use # and promote your business.


4. TikTok
Founded in 2016, currently have 800 million active users.


This platform is for a young audience. If you know how to create a short up to the 60-sec film, and you would like to share it. This is the right place. The app will quickly work out the right algorithm and share the most wanted content for each viewer. 

But if you aim for older professionals or if you doing B2B. TikTok is not for you.

 

5. Reddit
Founded in 2005, currently have 430 million active users.

If you want to gain an audience during the communication process this is for you. This platform allows users to create and run conversations. Reddit is a good place to learn about topics and people. However, often users are very aware of selling techniques. Simply not interested.
