FAME tracker

Presence in social media is one thing, the other is visibility. Mere presence in social media is not yet a success. In 2022, Instagram had over two billion active accounts a month. What does this mean, and what does it mean, in order to stand out from among the 2 billion and get noticed, you really have to sweat. What is the chance that our account will be visited more often than, for example, the three most popular stars on Instagram. Cristiano Ronaldo (366 million followers), Kylie Jenner (281 million followers) and Lionel Messi (281 million followers). The easiest way to get noticed and reach a group of people is through a hashtag. The three most-used hashtags on Instagram are #love (1.835 billion), #instagood (1.150 billion), and #fasion (812.7 million).

But this post is not about gaining fame, but about how to measure your fame not only on Instagram. The easiest way to measure is to use special tools that monitor the traffic on our account.
Sprout Social, HubSpot, TapInfluence, BuzzSumo, Keyhole and many more. Most of these platforms help you track and share information with us that help us choose the right marketing strategies that will help us increase our reach.

Unfortunately, it is easy to get lost in all the information we can get. It is important to measure and focus on those measures that we need. Not all business is the same so it is important to understand what to measure. And choose what is needed for us.

The most popular metrics.

Awareness metrics

Brand awareness
in simple words, this is the attention your brand attracts - on all social media. Reflecting on the time range it occurs depending on the reporting period. Week, month, quarter or year. You can measure how many times our brand has been mentioned (@), the number of shares, and links sent and the number of times our brand is displayed, on a page or link.

Audience growth rate
It measures the speed with which you see your brand grow in popularity and how quickly you gain followers. It's important to focus on how quickly we gained new followers.
As internet access continues to grow worldwide, the number of brand followers on social media will also increase.

Post Reach
The easiest metric to measure is post reach. Indicates how many people have seen the post since it was published. This metric also shows when and what audiences are following us.

Potential Reach
Measures the number of people who could, realistically, see a post during a reporting period.

CRT (Click-Through Rate)
This is how often users click on the call-to-action link on your post.

Bounce rate
This is the percentage of website visitors who click on a link on your post only to quickly exit the page they are on without taking any action. For example, if your social media bounce rate is lower than other sources, this is evidence that your social media posts are targeting the right audience

Customer Satisfaction or CSAT
This is an indicator that measures how satisfied people are with your product or service. It is described on the basis of a simple satisfaction analysis that is easy to describe.

I have written a few of the many ways to measure social media presence. The platforms help to measure many other statistics. Developers come up with more and more new methods of measurement.
